EXPORT BUYER GUIDE

Lowbed equipment trailer specification checklist

For moving excavators, loaders and machinery: match the trailer to the largest machine and the permitted loaded dimensions of your route.

Fillable PDF: requirements, evidence to request and quotation scope. Save a copy and send it through your chosen contact channel. Downloading or filling this file does not submit an inquiry or confirm an inspection.

Send these details · ask for this evidence

  • Provide machine model, operating weight, transport length, width, height and any detachable attachments.
  • Confirm usable deck length, deck height, ramps, lashing points, axle layout and tires against the load.
  • Match the tractor fifth-wheel height, kingpin, air brakes and electrical connections before ordering.
What should the written scope include?

Request a dimensioned drawing and written build specification. A catalogue capacity does not confirm the legal payload on your route; loading method, axle limits, bridge limits and permits need local verification.

East or West Africa: where does the quotation end?

State both the discharge port and final work location. For Mombasa, Dar es Salaam, Lomé or another port, ask who handles clearance and inland transport. Your local agent should verify steering, age, emissions and import documents for the selected unit. Itemize port charges, taxes and inland delivery; a CIF port quotation is not a final on-site cost.

Purchasing questions

Can one lowbed carry every excavator?

No. The machine weight, width, clearance and legal route limits determine deck, axle and ramp requirements.

How many axles do I need?

Axle quantity depends on cargo weight, axle limits, route and tractor compatibility. It should be calculated from the complete requirement.

Is the website image the final trailer?

No. It is a configuration reference. Final drawings, dimensions, components, production source and delivery scope belong in the quotation.
