Start with the truck type, not only the A7 name
HOWO A7 identifies a model family, not one fixed vehicle. A 4×2 tractor head and an 8×4 dump truck solve different transport problems and cannot be compared by horsepower or headline price alone.
For a tractor inquiry, send the trailer type, cargo, gross combination weight, trip distance, gradients and fifth-wheel requirements. For a dump-truck inquiry, send the carried material, loading method, road or quarry conditions, expected body dimensions and legal axle limits.
- 4×2 tractor or 8×4 dump configuration
- Trailer, cargo or carried material
- Route, gradients and road surface
- Left- or right-hand drive
Confirm the selected truck's identity and driveline
Model names are often reused across years and specifications. Ask for clear photographs of the chassis and engine plates, then confirm the engine, rated output, gearbox, axle ratio, steering position, emission standard and year for the exact vehicle.
The identity shown in the quotation, photographs, test video and contract should refer to the same truck. A brochure or photo of another A7 is useful only as a model reference.
- Chassis and engine identification
- Gearbox and axle configuration
- Year and available operating records
- Current full-vehicle photographs
Inspect a tractor and a dump truck differently
Both types need engine, cooling, clutch, gearbox, axles, frame, suspension, brakes, tires, electrical system and cab checks. A tractor also needs fifth-wheel and trailer-connection inspection. A dump truck needs body, subframe, hinges, hydraulic pump and a complete tipping-cycle test.
Request a continuous current-unit video rather than only edited clips. It should connect the identity plate, cold start and working test to the same vehicle.
- Cold start, smoke and leaks
- Road, steering and braking test
- Frame, suspension and tires
- Fifth wheel or tipping hydraulics
Define used and refurbished condition in writing
Used, repaired and refurbished do not have one universal scope. Write down every promised mechanical repair, replacement part, tire standard, cab repair, body repair, paint step and test. Repainting alone does not prove mechanical refurbishment.
Agree which photos, measurements and test records will be supplied before the balance payment. If the order value or risk justifies it, arrange an independent inspection of the selected truck.
Compare FOB, CFR and CIF quotations correctly
A useful quotation identifies the exact vehicle or agreed sourcing specification, quantity, condition, preparation, Chinese loading port, destination port, trade term and validity date. Ocean freight can change, so a delivered price should always be dated.
Compare offers on the same basis. Separate the truck price, refurbishment, inland logistics, export handling, freight, insurance and destination charges instead of comparing one supplier's FOB number with another supplier's CIF number.
- Truck and preparation price
- Chinese inland and port costs
- Ocean freight and insurance
- Destination costs excluded or included
Send a buyer-ready HOWO A7 inquiry
To receive a vehicle-specific answer, send the truck type, drive configuration, work, quantity, required condition, destination country and port, purchase time and any mandatory technical requirements. Ask for current stock media and an itemized quotation.
Local import, age, emission, axle-load and registration requirements remain the buyer's responsibility. Confirm them with a qualified destination-country professional before the order is finalized.
